I have a "image upload fail, Please try again" message. All images are from my hardrive, what do I do? I see them all in my post

Not sure. It sounds like the typical posting bug that so often leads to multiple posts. You get the rejection notice, but if you leave it alone, open a new tab, and check the post target page, it will be there, even though the rejection notice is still active. Otherwise, I got nuthin'.

Just keep trying to post it (click the button) until it goes through. Kinja doesn't like large pictures, and especially not lots of them.

Are there weird characters in the filename? I've noticed that's gotten me kinja'd a few times.

Copy what you've done, save it in Notepad or whatever, and remove images if needed to get below 1 MB size. Post message then use edit to insert more images.

I've never had a problem with large pictures, I post pictures that are close to UHD/4k all the time.. I think it's just Kinja/Gawker being.. well... rubbish as usual..
